Barone Named as New Executive Editor of the DWI Journal
Birmingham, Michigan attorney Patrick T. Barone was recently selected to assume the editorship of the nationally circulated DWI Journal: Law & Science. He will be replacing the interim editor, Mr. William C. Head of Atlanta, Georgia who was named to the position late last year. Previously, the DWI Journal had been edited since 1986 by Providence, Rhode Island attorney John A. Tarantino. Upon learning of Mr. Head’s resignation, Mr. Tarantino suggested that Mr. Barone assume the editorship.Mr. Head, who stepped down as editor so that he could spend more time with his family, said that “Mr. Barone is a part of ‘the next generation’ of dedicated DUI-DWI lawyers that are carrying the battle flag forward against all odds in today's MADD, MADD world. He already writes Defending Drinking Drivers, which is an dispensable national treatise on drunk driving law and, in doing so, must stay abreast of case law from across the nation. Consequently, Mr. Barone is in an excellent position to provide the necessary content for The DWI Journal.”
The DWI Journal is a published monthly, and its editorial board includes many of America's leading attorneys and forensic scientists practicing in the DWI field today.
